Kuikads Group S.L. ("Kuik", "we", "our" or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of individuals whose information is processed through our website, platform, and personalised video generation services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information, and how we comply with the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR (where applicable), and other relevant data protection laws.

1. Scope of this Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to: Public users (visiting www.kuik.io), Clients (businesses using Kuik Studio via trial or subscription), and Client users (individuals whose data is processed in campaigns run through Kuik Studio, Kuik API or Engine).

2. Kuik’s role under GDPR

As Data Processor: Kuik processes data on behalf of Clients. As Data Controller: for our own account management, marketing, analytics or site administration.

3. Categories of personal data processed

Identifiers (name, email, phone, customer ID), transactional data, engagement data, media data (text/images/voice), and technical data (IP, browser, device, cookies). We do not process special category data unless explicitly instructed and with safeguards.

4. Purposes and lawful bases

For Clients: Clients determine purposes/legal basis. For Kuik: contract performance, legitimate interests (improvement, fraud prevention, security), consent (our marketing).

5. Data retention

Video-related data kept only as long as necessary. Deleted/anonymised within 30 days of delivery unless otherwise agreed. Logs/backups only as needed.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies to enhance UX, remember prefs, authenticate, analyse, and deliver ads. Manage via browser. Third-party cookies not covered.

We may use trusted third-party providers (cloud hosting, AI voice/translation). All bound by GDPR agreements. International transfers safeguarded with SCCs.

8. Data subject rights

You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, portability, withdraw consent, not be subject to automated decisions. If data provided by Client, Kuik may redirect request to them.

9. Security

We apply encryption, access controls, audits, monitoring, training, and incident response.

10. International transfers

Systems may be outside UK/EEA (incl. US). Safeguarded by SCCs or equivalents.

If you post testimonials/comments, they may be public. Request removal at privacy@kuik.io. Social media features follow third-party policies.

12. Children

Our services are not directed at under-13s. We do not knowingly collect children’s data. If discovered, deleted promptly.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy; material changes notified on site/email before effect.
